Central vacuum systems are designed to remove dirt and debris from premises and buildings, transporting dust and debris via tube systems located in walls to a waste container installed in a designed area. The power unit together with waste container is often installed in a basement, garage or storage room. Inlets are installed above skirting boards throughout the building (on average one inlet per 600 square feet) to which vacuum hoses and other central vacuum accessories are plugged. Most vacuum hoses have a power switch located on the handle. The wall inlets are connected to the power unit by tubes. Dust and debris are transported to the power unit and then deposited in the waste container This needs to be emptied once every three months. Automatic dustpans can also be installed (e.g. in the kitchen) which enables a person to sweep debris directly into a wall inlet using a standard broom. Central vacuum cleaner assures superior indoor air quality and clearing performance over portable vacuum cleaners. We offer and install central vacuum systems made by leading manufacturers such as: Aerovac and Vacumaid.
